Felicity (Saadet) Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made evaluations on the agenda at the weekly regular press conference held at the headquarters of his party.

“RACISM DOES NOT BRING PEACE TO THE COUNTRY”

Speaking about the anniversary of the 6-7 September events, which are still painfully remembered in the history of our country, even after 66 years, Karamollaoğlu said, "66 years ago, there was an outrage against our Greek citizens and very sad events took place. Racism does not bring peace to any country."

Karamollaoğlu wished that the 2021-2022 academic year, which was started at the beginning of the week, would be productive. Karamollaoğlu stated that the government could not make serious progress in education.

"Ministers were changed 8 times in 19 years. They haven't found a consistent path in 19 years. In education policies, unqualified has almost become a characteristic of the government. In addition, the quality and examination system in education prevents us from reaching the point we want in education," he said.

“WE SHOULD EDUCATE OUR YOUTH QUALIFIED”

Expressing that the young population studying in Turkey has reached 26 million, Karamollaoğlu said, "Youth is very important for countries. In this sense, our country has great wealth. But benefiting from this wealth depends on whether we will raise qualified young people or not. If education is not approached with such an understanding, this wealth may even be a burden on the country."

"Both producers, consumers suffer"

Noting that the deplorable picture in the economy made the citizens think brooding, Karamollaoğlu said, "Today, when people go to the market, they can't fill their nets. Meat is bought by the gram. Vegetable and fruit prices have skyrocketed. But the interesting thing is that both the producer is the victim and the consumer is the victim. Who is siphoning off the price difference, no one questions it. Either there is intent or someone is corrupt."

"Stop consumption-based investments"

Calling the government to stop consumption-based investments to get rid of this bottleneck, Karamollaoğlu said:

"Road, bridge, skyscraper, all of these must stop. Instead, investments that increase production and expand employment should be included. Waste must be stopped, bribery must be rooted out, corruption must not be allowed. If these do not happen, Turkey will enter a more dangerous course tomorrow than it is today."
