Felicity (Saadet) Party Konya Deputy Abdulkadir Karaduman made important evaluations on the agenda at the press conference he held in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Reminding the increase offered by the government to the civil servants in the 6th term collective bargaining negotiations, Karaduman underlined that this offer is unacceptable in terms of current inflation figures and economic situation.

“OUR CIVIL SERVANTS CRUSHED BY INFLATION”

Saying, in the period since the 5th collective agreement, minced meat has increased by 92 percent, rice by 50 percent and pasta by 37 percent, Karaduman added that and yet, it is unfortunate that the salaries of civil servants do not increase at the same rate, while inflation is in double digits and exorbitant increases are seen in almost every item, and at least it cannot be improved at the rate of inflation. This increase decision shows that; Our civil servants have been crushed by inflation.

“TURKEY IS A STATE OF LAW, IT CANNOT BE GOVERNED BY CIRCULAR”

Referring to the rumors that the Covid-19 vaccine will be mandatory, Karaduman said, "First of all, it should be stated that; It is not legally possible to implement compulsory vaccination in our country under current conditions. Because, according to Article 17 of the Constitution, it is clear that no one's bodily integrity can be touched and that they cannot be subjected to scientific and medical experiments without their consent. Turkey is a state of law, it cannot be governed by circulars. Mandatory vaccination, which has become a tool of pressure and mobbing on our people today, is definitely not legal and humane."
