While there is little time left for the Presidential and 28th Term Parliamentary Elections, the government continues to take steps towards the election.
Especially in the last 20 years, in response to the bad situation in the economy, it is tried to prevent the reaction of the citizens to the government with the arrangements made for pensions, minimum wages and veterans' salaries.
There are only a few days left for the Presidential and 28th Term Parliamentary Elections to be held in May.
With the economic crisis that started with the pandemic and exacerbated by the Ukraine-Russia War, it tries to stop the reactions with new regulations suitable for elections against the reactions in power.
THE GOVERNMENT CONTINUES TO GIVE THE REGULATIONS IT MADE AS GOOD NEWS
As Turkey prepares for the May 14 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections, regulations regarding citizens who have been crushed by the long-standing economic crisis continue.
While the economic crisis, which started with the pandemic and increased its impact with the Ukraine-Russia War, affects every moment of life, the government continues to give the raise decisions regarding the citizens as it goes towards the elections as good news.
CIVIL SERVANTS AND MINIMUM WAGE EARNERS EXPECT NEW RISE
In the face of the economic situations that bend the backs of the citizens, while linking the raises to the salaries to the 'election hike', it continues to wait for the announcement of the hike decisions for the elections from the government.
After the arrangements made for pensions, civil servants and minimum wage earners expected a new increase, while citizens reminded of the increase decided as an election investment in each election period.
Hike investment is expected
Shortly before the elections, new hikes were announced to the citizens who had been waiting for an 'election hike' for a long time, while the lowest pension increased to 7 thousand 500 TL, and the holiday bonuses increased to 2 thousand TL.
On the way to the elections, the minimum wage was increased to 8 thousand 500 TL and the salaries of civil servants were increased by 30 percent.
While it is known that the hikes are made for the election, it is expected that the government's investments in the elections will increase.
