Head of Azerbaijan Center for the Defense of Freedoms of Religion and Conscience Hacı İlgar İbrahimoğlu spoke about late Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan.
Stating that the value of Erbakan Hodja is unfortunately not sufficiently understood and his value is unfortunately not known in Turkey, İbrahimoğlu emphasized that Erbakan Hodja has a great importance for the Islamic world.
Hacı İlgar İbrahimoğlu, head of the Azerbaijan Center for the Defense of Freedoms of Religion and Conscience, told Milli Gazete that Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan, the leader of the National Opinion, was a man of the ummah.
THE NUMBER OF THOSE WHO LOVE ERBAKAN HODJA INCREASED
Noting that Erbakan Hodja's speeches on the internet are still being watched in Azerbaijan, Hacı İlgar İbrahimoğlu stated that the number of people who know and love Erbakan Hodja has increased in recent years. İbrahimoğlu, regarding the issue, "Decades ago there was no suitable environment in Azerbaijan to understand Erbakan Hodja. The speeches, analyzes and evaluations of Erbakan Hodja on the events taking place in the Islamic world in recent years are followed in Azerbaijan. As the Islamic sensitivities in Azerbaijan increased, the number of people who knew and loved Erbakan Hodja increased," he said.
REMINDED ERBAKAN HODJA'S WORD
Explaining the importance of Erbakan to the ummah, İbrahimoğlu stated that Erbakan Hodja is a man of the ummah.
"I would like to remind Erbakan Hodja a quote from him in order to explain his importance for the ummah of Islam. Erbakan Hodja used to say: 'We are not a congregation, but an ummah, this is a very important issue.' Erbakan Hodja acted as an ummah in the field of politics," he added.
