Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) and National Youth Foundation (MGV) Chairman Salih Turhan, who participated in the Martyrs' Night program organized by the Anatolian Youth Association Muş Branch, stated that many scholars and leaders of the cause were martyred in February, and said, "February is a month of glory and honor. Because in this month, real Muslims who try to protect the honor and dignity of Muslims by not giving in to oppression, persecution and impositions have been the target of the treacherous bullets of the oppressors.”
“FEBRUAY IS THE MONTH WHEN ROSES ARE MOST INVOKED”
Stating that February is a month of fertility as well as the month of martyrdom, “February is also the month of abundance. Many people died for the sake of Allah's religion. They are alive with us just as they are alive in the sight of Allah. Of course, martyrdom cannot have a specific date or month. Throughout history, every day has witnessed the fall to earth and ascension to heaven of valiant men who wanted to raise the word of God. February is the month when roses are most often called. Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan who dedicates himself to the right cause and struggles tirelessly, said, 'If there is faith, there is possibility.' It is the month when Erbakan walked towards God,” Turhan added.
“MARTYRDOM MEANS WALKING BY KILLING DEATH”
Referring to the importance of martyrdom, Turhan stated that martyrdom is a blessing and said, “We believe that martyrdom is a blessing bestowed by Allah Almighty. Martyrdom; It means not walking to death knowingly, but walking by killing death. If we do not understand this well, someone may misuse our passion and desire for martyrdom. If we want martyrdom, we have to live a life with priority in the hereafter. The person who lives in the hereafter carries the paradise in his chest. What he carries in his chest will be granted to him when the place and time comes, with the permission of Allah.”
“THEY BECAME MARTYR BECAUSE OF THEIR FIGHTING AGAINST FALSEHOOD”
Emphasizing that many people were martyred in their struggle against falsehood and on the side of truth, “Many brave men led us on the path of martyrdom. They were martyred not because they took their place in the defense of a race or a region, but because they stood by the truth against falsehood, justice against oppression, and truth against blasphemy. On the other hand, there are martyrs on the fronts opened by racist imperialism in Bosnia, Chechnya, Palestine, Afghanistan, Arakan, Eritrea, Moro, Iraq, Algeria, Libya and Syria. Each of them is a leader, a guide, a life and death guide for us,” Turhan added.
