President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan evaluated the "compliance" statement of 10 ambassadors as an "apology" at the group meeting of his party, while Good (İyi) Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener stated that the AK Party government does not care about the problems of the nation.

In the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the AK Party and İyi Party held their weekly group meetings. AK Party Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan responded harshly to the opposition parties and their criticism of him and his party at the group meeting of his party. Iyi Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener criticized the power over the economy. President Erdogan harshly criticized the CHP, which voted "no" to the Syria and Iraq resolution.

Referring to the ongoing discussions on 10 ambassadors, Erdoğan evaluated the statement made by other countries, especially the US Ambassador, as an "apology".

"After the ambassadors' statement that we considered heavy, we followed who stood where. Those who welcomed the first statement that was insulted to our country and our judiciary and were disappointed by the apology, have no heart or root ties with these lands," Erdogan said.

Referring to the rising input costs in agriculture, Erdoğan said, "Of course, we have been closely following the problems experienced by our farmers, just like every other segment. The global production and logistics crisis that started with the epidemic led to an increase in fertilizer, feed and energy prices in the agricultural sector. We strive to reflect the increase in input costs due to global developments to our manufacturers as little as possible. My request from our producers is to plant their fields and greenhouses without leaving a single inch of vacant land, and to keep their barns full. It is understood that this fluctuation in the world will continue for a while. I want you to be sure that no sacrifice made and no sweat spilled in this difficult time will go unrequited."

'WE ARE OUT OF THE TOP 20 ECONOMIES'

İyi Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener evaluated the 2022 Budget, which came to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, as a "budget for extravagance and waste". Expressing that the AK Party government does not care about the problems of the nation, Akşener blamed Erdogan's statement that "interest is the reason, inflation is the result".

Continuing his criticism of the Presidential Government System, Akşener said:

"In the grip of this monstrous system, Turkey faces a new crisis every week. And while our country is being battered in this crisis spiral, what is happening, as always, is happening to our nation. Thus; Those who say, 'We will be among the top 10 economies in the world in 2023'; Today, they have taken our country out of even the top 20 economies."
