The Felicity (Saadet) Party, which issued a simultaneous joint press statement across Turkey, reacted to the terrorist Israeli President Isaac Herzog's arrival in Turkey. The visit was condemned in the city squares of 81 provinces.
Herzog, who made an official visit to Turkey at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was also protested by the Izmir Organization of the Saadet Party.
While the party members who organized the protest in Konak Square expressed their reactions with the slogans "Murderer Israel, get out of Palestine", "Hail to Jerusalem, continue the resistance", "Down with Israel"; "We don't want Herzog in our country", "The oppressors have no business in Turkey", "Invitation to Herzog is a betrayal of the nation and the Palestinian cause!", "Has Israel changed or have you changed?" written banners raised.
Many citizens participated in the protest, as well as Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Şerafettin Kılıç and Saadet Party İzmir Provincial President Mustafa Erduran.
“ISRAEL HAS CHANGED AND WE DON'T KNOW?”
Saadet Party reading the press release at the protest demonstration İzmir Provincial President Mustafa Erduran stated that they strongly condemned the invitation of President Herzog of Israel, the terrorist state, to Turkey, and by asking, "We are strongly opposed to this invitation. Those who rain down bombs on Jerusalem and Gaza, trample our first qibla Masjid al-Aqsa with their dirty boots, and massacre the oppressed, regardless of whether they are children, women or the elderly, have no place in our country and will not exist. It is unthinkable to invite murderers to our country. What happened to your 'one minute' debut? We don't know if Israel has changed, or have those in power changed a lot? Has the persecution of our brothers in Palestine come to an end? Has the blockade on Gaza lifted? Have these murderers given up on their genocide against the Palestinians, or has Israel given up on its dangerous plans in our region?” he said.
“THE RELATIONS WITH ISRAEL CANNOT BE NORMALIZED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES”
Reminding the past of Turkey-Israel relations, "Another murderer, Shimon Peres, was made to speak in our Veteran Assembly, While the images for which he was applauded remain in the archives and in our memories as a mark of shame, you have taken another shameful step today. Neither these holy lands nor the hearts of this nation accept any invasion or invader. We will not remain silent until the President realizes which lands he rules. Normalizing with Israel is a betrayal of our oppressed brothers. Relations with Israel cannot be normalized under any circumstances before Israel withdraws from the occupied lands, judged for the lands it plundered, for the Palestinian innocents it killed, and the Mavi Marmara massacre, without the establishment of an Independent Palestinian state in the Palestinian lands,” Mustafa Erduran added.
