Karaduman asked the following questions, asking the Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Bilgin to answer:
"What is the amount of damage suffered by SGK between 2003-2021? What is the number of investigations currently conducted in SGK?"
Saadet Party Konya Deputy Abdulkadir Karaduman brought the corruption allegations in the SGK to the Parliament's agenda. Karaduman, who submitted a written question to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, with the request of Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, to answer.
"It is reflected in the press that the state is harmed in the SSI corruption, which we have witnessed increasing in recent years, new medical devices are intentionally scrapped, and imported drugs for various health services are sold to the state at exorbitant prices," he said.
Reminding that the cost of the corruption in question is billions of liras to the public, Karaduman asked Bilgin the following questions;
1. What is the amount of damage suffered by SSI between 2003-2021?
2. What is the number of investigations currently conducted at SGK?
3. What is the connection between the dismissals at SGK and the related investigations?
4. Is compensation provided for the damage caused by the corruption in the past?
5. Is the company INVAMED, which is the manager of a close relative of a current minister, also within the scope of this investigation?
6. How much is the damage inflicted by SGK by purchasing medical supplies far above the sales price during the pandemic process?
7. What are the public and private persons, institutions and organizations that are subject to criminal and administrative sanctions as a result of these investigations?
8. Are there any measures regarding the supply of drugs sold to the state at a price that is tens of times higher than the customs price? If there is no measure applied, is there a study in this direction?
