Felicity (Saadet) Party Istanbul Provincial Presidency continues to examine the problems in the districts and produce solutions.

The provincial administration, which has been meeting with the headmen, non-governmental organizations and citizens in the district for a long time, was in Güngören, which had a difficult time with the urban transformation process this week.

Saadet Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Ömer Faruk Yazıcı and provincial vice presidents met with headmen, citizens and representatives of various non-governmental organizations in Güngören.

During the meeting, Saadet Party Güngören District President Muhammet Resuloğlu also delivered a speech.

Resuloğlu listed Güngören's problems and solutions in his speech, and presented his projects to the headmen, especially in the field of urban transformation.

“URBAN TRANSFORMATION MUST BE DONE WHILE PROTECTING THE NEIGHBORHOOD TEXTURE”

Listening to the problems of the district, Istanbul Provincial Chairman of Saadet Party Ömer Faruk Yazıcı made important statements about urban transformation.

"We, as Saadet Party, consider these four items as indispensable in urban transformation. First, a consensus-based urban transformation should be done, and the consent of the landlords should be obtained. Second, the transformation must be appropriate and fair. No one's rights should be diminished. Three, we need to achieve this transformation without tearing people apart. Fourth, perhaps the most important issue is the preservation of the fabric of the neighborhood. Urban transformation must be done by preserving the neighborhood texture," Yazıcı said.

“YOU HAVE TO SHARE THE INCOME FAIRLY TO THE CITIZENS”

Touching on the issue of urban transformation and rent, Yazıcı said, "Urban transformation is not done to enrich certain segments, but for the comfort, life safety and city planning of the citizens. Of course, an income arises from every urban transformation. But this income should be distributed to the citizens, not to someone else. You have to share this income fairly to the citizens. Otherwise, your work will be a step taken to enrich certain segments."
