Felicity (Saadet) Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu continues his country tours without slowing down.
Participating in the 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress of his party's Bursa Provincial Presidency, Karamollaoğlu made important statements regarding the country and world agenda.
In addition, Karamollaoğlu met with journalists in Bursa and answered their questions.
“INFLATION IS 100 PERCENT”
Answering the questions of journalists, Karamollaoğlu said about the newly announced minimum wage of 4,253 TL, "The minimum wage increased by 50 percent. 'A tremendous increase,' Mr. Tayyip says this. It is said that there has never been a greater raise in the history of Turkey. Of course, he must have forgotten the year 1996. In 1996, there was a first raise of 50 percent, followed by a raise of 130 percent in 6 months. The important thing is not the amount in the raise, but how much the wages of those who are aggrieved in the face of inflation will increase. This is important. If the inflation is 5 percent, a 50 percent increase is not even in your mind, but if the inflation is 70, 80, 100 percent, it is not a 50 percent increase, it is to lighten the burden of inflation a little," he said.
“MEETINGS WILL CONTINUE”
Karamollaoğlu stated that he sees the possibility of a third alliance as a possible but weak possibility.
"The Nation Alliance and the People's Alliance have materialized for now. The Commonwealth is clear. In the Nation Alliance, the picture may change a little. There are also those who are looking for a third way. It is already early, but the search, conversations, negotiations will continue. As a result, the increase in alliances means the dispersion of votes. The government likes it. Because if there are only two alliances, they will share the votes, but if there are three, the bloc against the government will weaken; by the deputies they will issue. That's how the current system works. I do not say that these issues should not be discussed, but in my opinion, it would not be right to take a definite stance or to expect a stance in advance. This search will continue," Karamollaoglu added.
“WE HAVE A WEIRD MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE”
Speaking at the provincial congress of his party, Karamollaoğlu criticized the government's agricultural policies, "We have a strange Minister of Agriculture. We don't even know exactly whether he knows agriculture or not, whether he eats bread or not. Because he thinks everything is a daily rosy. For God's sake, there is no group of people who suffer as much as those who work in agriculture in Turkey. People are slaughtering their cows now. People cannot make a living on milk money. If a farmer can't get away with it, he quits his job. If the tradesman cannot buy what he sells, he cannot continue his business. This is the landscape we face today," he said.
Referring to the Central Bank's decision to cut interest rates, Karamollaoğlu continued as follows:
"We believe that interest is a tool of exploitation. But by saying that I have removed the interest, interest does not disappear. Interest still continues among the people. The more the central bank lowers interest rates, the more banks increase interest rates. The nation does not have any dealings with the Central Bank, someone earns something from time to time. Here they are also unknown… The Central Bank cuts the interest rates and gives an incredible rent to a certain group. Forbidden. Is there such logic?"
