Felicity (Saadet) Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made important statements regarding the agenda at the weekly regular press conference. At the press conference held at the headquarters of his party, Karamollaoğlu started his speech by congratulating the Malazgirt Victory and the 30 August Victory.

Underlining that the increase rate that came out of the 6th term collective bargaining table disappointed the civil servant, Karamollaoğlu calculated inflation in dollars, euros and gold. Reminding that the dollar increased by 46 percent, the euro increased by 56 percent, and gold increased by 71 percent, Karamollaoğlu said, "They said that we will not raise under inflation. Then they showed the hike they made as if it was a historical hike. Is this raise suitable for civil servants?" he asked.

“THEY SHOWED IT AS HISTORIC RAISE”

Underlining that the government reflects the increase in civil servants as if it had never been done in the history of Turkey, Karamollaoğlu said, "A raise means an increase that a working person can more easily afford. Therefore, the increase figures are determined by taking into account the inflation. If inflation is 30 percent in a country, and if you give an employee a 29 percent raise, it is not called a raise. Because he got a raise that would make his living weaker than the previous year. If you give an increase of 35 percent, that is, 5 percent above the inflation, when the inflation is 30 percent, you will make a real increase. Our long-time working people are in a deprived situation. Therefore, it is not possible for us to accept the 'highest number' statements of Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor."

Reminding the price hikes in food and cleaning materials in the last year, Karamollaoğlu said, "Compared to last year; Ground beef increased by 92 percent, rice by 50 percent, bagels by 28 percent, oil by 94 percent, milk by 60 percent, pasta by 37 percent, and detergent and cleaning products by 28 percent. According to official figures, inflation seems to be 26 percent. When we look at the dollar and the euro, the dollar increased by 46 percent, the euro increased by 56 percent, and gold increased by 71 percent. Under these conditions, the rate of increase that you see as a civil servant is not fair at all. We invite Erdogan to make the tea bagel account once again. Of course, this also depends on where you buy the tea from.
