The mining accident in Bartın, which resulted in the death of 41 miners, also caused great sadness in the Islamic world.

While the tragic mining accident in the Amasra district of Bartın province on Friday, in which 41 miners died, caused a great sadness in the society, the leading organizations of the Islamic world also shared the pain of Turkey.
 
The Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood) movement, Egypt's most powerful Islamic organization, and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance movement HAMAS conveyed condolences to Turkey through the messages they published.
 

“WE BELONG TO GOD AND WE WILL RETURN TO HIM”

 
Condolence statement from the Egyptian Brotherhood Muslim movement regarding the mining accident in Turkey stated following words:
 
"We learned with sadness that the explosion that took place in the Amasra mine in the province of Bartın in northeastern Turkey on Friday, October 14, 2022, caused the death of dozens of citizens and injured dozens of others. We pray that our brothers who died in the mine will be comrades with the martyrs, the righteous and the good. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured ones, patience and consolation to their families and loved ones. We also pray to Almighty Allah to protect Turkey, the Turkish people and all Muslim countries from all kinds of hatred, evil and danger. We belong to God and to Him we shall return."
 

“HAMAS AND THE PEOPLE OF PALESTINE ARE WITH TURKEY”

 
A condolence message to Turkey came from the HAMAS movement. In a statement of condolence issued to the Presidency of Turkey with the signature of Ismael Haniya, Head of Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement HAMAS stated as follows:
 
"As the HAMAS movement, we offer our condolences to Turkey and extend our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and the injured ones, and to the people of Turkey in general. HAMAS and the Palestinian people stand by the noble Turkish people in their painful days. We pray to Almighty Allah to protect the Republic of Turkey and its people from all evil and to give patience to the hearts of the families of the deceased."
