An important visit was made to the Milli Gazete from the International Youth Forum (IYFO) and the Union of Muslim Scholars.
IYFO Chairman Yılmaz Balçın, Head of the Palestinian Scholars' Committee Abroad and Dr. Nawaf Takruri, a member of the World Union of Muslim Scholars, as well as the IYFO delegation participated in the visit, which was held at the office of Milli Gazete Editor-in-Chief Mustafa Kurdaş.
During the visit, in which the first issue of Milli Gazete, published on January 12, 1973, was specifically examined, attention was drawn to the editorial policy of our newspaper against Palestine and Masjid al-Aqsa resistance through the headline of the "Jewish Congress".
Expressing the publication policy of the Milli Gazete and our 50-year struggle, Mustafa Kurdaş expressed his satisfaction with the visit.
"WE HAVE ENDLESS TRUST IN PALESTINIAN MUSLIMS"
Mustafa Kurdaş, Editor-in-Chief of the Milli Gazete, who made a speech during the visit, stated that Palestine and the Masjid al-Aqsa issue were their main agenda.
"Milli Gazete is your newspaper. We look at the Palestine and Masjid al-Aqsa issue from the perspective of our Erbakan Hodja. As the National Vision (Millî Görüş) movement and the Millî Gazete, we have endless trust in Palestinian scholars and Palestinian Muslims. There may be those who abuse the Palestine and Masjid al-Aqsa cause. That's why we shape our news and articles in the light of the information coming from the Palestinians themselves and the addressees of the subject. As Milli Gazete, we will continue to warn people and the government in Turkey," Kurdaş said.
"ISRAEL ONLY UNDERSTANDS FROM STRENGTH"
Dr. Nawaf Takruri, Head of the Palestinian Scholars Committee Abroad and Member of the World Union of Muslim Scholars, drew attention to the persecution of terrorist Israel.
"Israel will not benefit Turkey or any Muslim country. Media power constitutes half of the Palestinian and Masjid al-Aqsa resistance. That's why the upright stance of the Milli Gazete is very important. Physical force constitutes the other half of the Palestinian and Masjid al-Aqsa resistance. Because Israel only understands from strength. Fearing the handful of Muslims in Gaza, Israelis are very confident that Islamic states will not act. That's why we think that the struggle with the Muslim peoples should be organized in line with the consciousness of an ummah. I would like to remind the rulers of Islamic countries the opinion of hundreds of scholars. It is not permissible to normalize with Israel," Takruri said.
