Abbas' voice message was broadcast at the commemoration ceremony held at the Ramallah Cultural Palace on the 17th anniversary of the death of former Palestinian President Yaser Arafat.

President Abbas, "The time has come for the international community to change its relations with the Israeli occupation administration. Concrete steps need to be taken, such as imposing international protection mechanisms, holding an international conference to end the occupation, recognition of Palestine by non-recognizing countries, and preventing the financing of weapons that Israel kills children and innocents," he said.

"Our just national cause is going through a very sensitive phase, perhaps the most difficult phase in our history of struggle," said Abbas.

The Israeli occupation administration penetrated colonial and racist policies and launched a systematic attack to change the historical status of the city of Jerusalem.

Abbas stated that the occupiers continued to hold rituals in Masjid al-Aqsa, disregarding international law and consolidating their settlement policies and apartheid policy, in order to destroy the remaining opportunities to embody the independence of the Palestinian state.

Abbas, "It is not reasonable or acceptable for the occupation to haunt us forever, just as it is unreasonable for us to continue to abide by agreements that Israel does not comply with," he added.

While the racist Jewish invaders, who were protected by the security forces and soldiers of the Zionist occupation regime in the West Bank region, damaged the property of the Palestinians in various ways, the occupation forces uprooted the trees of the Palestinians. In the town of Al-Bire, near the city of Ramallah in the central part of the West Bank, Jews smashed the tires of three Palestinian cars. It was stated that the occupiers also wrote slogans containing racist and insulting meanings against the Palestinians on the walls during the raid on Al-Bire.

CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL PRESSURE FROM THE ARAB UNITY AGAINST ISRAEL

Ambassador Said Abu Ali, Deputy Secretary General of the Arab League for Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories Affairs, called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to end Israel's violations and crimes. Abu Ali, Deputy Secretary General, called on the Palestinian people to exercise their right to international protection and self-determination, to intervene in the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

THE REACTION OF THE UN EXPERTS TO THE INCREASE ATTACKS OF ISRAEL ON THE PALESTINES

United Nations (UN) experts reacted to the increasing attacks of Israeli settlers on Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian territories. Defining occupier violence as "a disturbing character of the Israeli occupation", the statement said, "In 2021, we are witnessing the highest rate of violence and the most violent incidents in recent years."

In the statement, "The Israeli government and military took little action to protect occupied Palestinians from settler violence, but actively supported the settlers by instructing them to leave their areas," it was stated.

It was reported that 410 attacks by settlers against Palestinians were detected between January and October 2021, and 4 Palestinians lost their lives in these incidents.
