In order to draw attention to the problems in Kashmir, Recai Kutan, President of the Center for Economic and Social Research, issued a message for the 'Kashmir Solidarity Day' which is organized on 5 February every year.
In his message, Kutan pointed out the pains in Kashmir for years and stated that the Islamic countries should act jointly to solve the problem.

Kutan, Kashmir ruled by an occupation over the years, pointed out that the region is one of the bleeding wounds of the Ummah geography. In his message, Kutan pointed out that the situation is getting worse every passing day, and that Western countries are insensitive to Kashmir and that they are based on power rather than rights. In the rest of his message, Kutan said, için I have my interests in the law, so I can do all kinds of injustice and cruelty in order to provide our interests. As in the case of the Palestinian affair, the Kashmiri incident was the result of such false mindsets as in other Islamic countries. However, the Islamic countries should come together to support Pakistan, especially the Kashmiri people.
In his message, Kutan also stated that they have carried out important works related to Kashmir every year and stated that they are always with the rightful cause of the people in the region. we will do it, he said.
