Economic and Social Researches Center (ESAM) and Pakistan Embassy in Ankara organized Kashmir Solidarity Day.
Felicity (Saadet) Party President Temel Karamollaoğlu, ESAM Chairman Recai Kutan, Pakistani Ambassador to Turkey Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, High Advisory Council member of Presidency Bülent Arınç, Pakistan and Kashmiri students participated in the program.
The program, which started with the recitation of the Quran, made a cinevision show about Kashmir. Speaking at the opening speech of the program, ESAM President Recai Kutan underlined that a large part of the Islamic world is going through a critical process and pointed out that there are persecution, blood and tears in many Islamic countries.
Kutan emphasized that the massacres, tortures and genocides were carried out in the areas occupied by the Westerners and stated that the situation in question was the real face of the West.
Stating that Kashmir is actually divided into 4 parts, Kutan said that Kashmir took a bold and determined stance during the historical process.
NO INTERNATIONAL LAW
Underlining that the painful bellows and the cruelty that disregard the law are experienced in many parts of the world, Kutan said that Palestine is one of the leading places of these.
Kutan continued as follows: "Despite the fact that Palestine is completely occupied in the grip of imperialism and Zionist Israel, Western countries and international structures embrace Israel's persecution and accept Israel as an unconditional protection. US President Donald Trump, who previously announced that he would recognize Jerusalem as the capital despite his special status, has now signed a draft to legitimize all the persecution on this land under the name of the "Agreement of the Century", ignoring international law. In the face of this attitude that ignores the conscience of humanity, we, as Muslim countries, should take clearer attitudes beyond the messages of classical condemnation. Likewise, East Turkestan, who was subjected to genocide by China, is also used for imperialist ambitions."
KARAMOLLAOĞLU: "INDIA IMPOSING THE HATE!"
Saadet Party President Temel Karamollaoğlu, "we have been listening to Kashmir for 70 years, listening to the whole world with us. Too bad to compare to the past. I recently listened to the hate speech of an Indian girl between the ages of 9 and 10 about Kashmir. I was shocked! 9-10 year old girl; 'We have to kill all Kashmiri people. When I grow up, I will become a police officer, and I will kill all Kashmiris', she said. It is not possible for a child to think like this. This is imposed on them! This is a policy of India. We all get upset. Unfortunately, Kashmirians cannot find the power to resist 900 thousand soldiers. Hundreds of thousands of people died in prisons, dying elsewhere. They are ready to die, but dying is not enough to solve problems," he said.
"WE SHOULD COME TOGETHER AS ISLAMIC COUNTRIES"
Karamollaoğlu, "Palestine is a 70-year-old problem, but wherever we look, the Islamic world has turned into a bloodbath. As Islamic countries, we must come together and take the necessary steps. Otherwise, we are content to share these pains every year. This pain does not stop, this injustice does not stop. We think this issue is important. These problems are not solved before we come together and worry about the oppressed. We must absolutely stand up to the persecution. India is the second largest country in the world! There are people lacking in the concept of justice. They have executives who make persecution a policy. We should follow a more serious policy against them," he added.
QAZİ: "6,000 KASHMIRIS IN PRISON"
Pakistan's Ambassador to Ankara, Mohammed Syrus Sajjad Qazi, stated that 6,000 Kashmiris were imprisoned after the decision to end Kashmir's privileged status.
According to a report from the National Federation of Indian Women, Qazi pointed out that about 13 thousand children have been detained since August 5.
Stating that torture continues with large-scale arrests, Qazi said, "the right to organize peaceful meetings, freedom of movement and religious freedom rights are violated. In short, a humanitarian and human rights tragedy is taking place in front of the eyes of the world, threatening regional and international peace and security," he said.
