The Kashmir delegation, which continues its efforts to keep India's repression policies in Kashmir on the international agenda and for Kashmir to gain its independence, visited Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu.
“KASHMIR ISSUE SHOULD BE MENTIONED TOGETHER WITH PALESTINE”
The violence of the oppressive policies implemented by India in Kashmir is increasing day by day. The Indian government, which abolished the special status of Jammu and Kashmir regions on 5 August 2019, is increasing its persecution on Muslims by sending thousands of soldiers to the region.
The Kashmiri delegation, which continues its struggle to announce the implemented policies to the public and to eliminate the oppressive policies of India, visited the Felicity Party Headquarters and met with Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu.
The delegation was chaired by Azad Kashmir Assembly Mayor Chaudry Latif Akber, former leader of Azad Kashmir Jamaat Islamic and Deputy Abdul Rashid Turabi, Azad Kashmir Political Parties Freedom Union Secretary General Mahmood Ahmet Sagher, Azad Kashmir Freedom Union leader Altaf Bhat and Istanbul Kashmir House General Manager Dr. Mubeen Shah also took part.
Saadet leader Karamollaoğlu expressed his satisfaction with the meeting, which lasted nearly two hours.
"There is a crime against humanity in Kashmir. Kashmir issue is a problem that should be mentioned together with Palestine. The events in Arakan today have turned into another bleeding wound and have been added to the problems experienced by the Islamic world," Karamollaoğlu said.
“TURKEY SHOULD TAKE FAST AND DETERMINED STEPS ON KASHMIR”
Emphasizing that the problems experienced all over the Islamic geography have increased, Karamollaoğlu stated that Islamic countries should take steps to solve the Kashmir issue.
Drawing attention to the importance of the struggle of Kashmiris to gain their independence, Karamollaoğlu said, "Although the United Nations (UN) had a resolution 76 years ago stating that the future of Kashmir is determined by the Kashmiris, India does not implement this decision. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) should assume responsibility at this point and protect Kashmir. Economic and political sanctions should be on the table. At this point, Turkey should take the initiative in the implementation of international law in Kashmir and take fast and determined steps."
