With the letter signed by Memur-Sen labour union Chairman Ali Yalçın, a call was made to Kamu-Sen and KESK unions to "support Memur-Sen in the collective agreement".
Yalçın also held a phone call with the presidents of other confederations.
Stating that the said invitation was made in accordance with the decision of the Board of Presidents held at Memur-Sen Headquarters on May 27 to make a call to act together with the other two confederations at the collective bargaining table, Yalçın said that if the call is returned positively, the Public Employers Committee will demonstrate the power of labor He underlined that he will act faster at the point of noticing and make more careful decisions about the demands of the labor sector.

In the joint letter sent to the heads of Kamu-Sen and KESK, "Based on the fact that we are confederations that have created and managed inclusive and impressive processes such as the 'Labor Platform' in the past; I call on Memur-Sen to act together before and during the 6th Term Collective Agreement. I hope that your approach and response to our call will be positive, and I sincerely believe that such a decision of collective will will give a high level of morale not only to public officials, but also to our entire nation, in a period of accelerated normalization after the pandemic, which has deeply affected our nation and our country as well as all humanity," he said.
“OUR CALL HAS BEEN EVALUATED”
In addition to the letter, Yalçın, who had a phone call with Kamu-Sen Chairman Önder Kahveci and KESK Co-Chair Mehmet Bozgeyik, stated that Kamu-Sen said they would discuss the issue with the authorized bodies and that they would evaluate the issue after the upcoming general assembly of KESK.
