DİN-BİR-DER Chairman Muhittin Hamdi Yildirim harshly criticized the Lottery called 'national'. Yildirim, denying that the name of an activity that is considered as haram to be national is contrary to our belief.

Recalling that the gamble is forbidden in Islam, Yildirim said that all the games based on the loss of one of the parties and the other losing are haram. Yildirim, "This is based on the chance factor based on lottery such as gambling and its haram" he said.

Yildirim, the fact that such games are made by the state itself, and the income from them to benefit from some organizations and charities do not make them legitimate or halal. The state's widespread functioning of a haram does not preclude it from the provision of haram, which the Qur'an and Sunnah have put upon it. It is true that God says not the state. The state accustomed the Muslim people to the source of evil. This is never permissible.

Millions of people's money and hope is exploited and dinen is considered a haram to be called a national activity is against our beliefs and values, says Yildirim, emphasized that games of chance refute the moral behavior of our nation. Yıldırım finished his words as follows.

An act deemed to be haram by our religion is also a separate garab, expressing religion and Qur'an as a concept. It is a sin, a veil, and, to put it mildly, is an insult to our national values.
