While the Memur-Sen Confederation and its affiliated unions shared with the public the May 1 declaration in front of the Ankara City Hospital due to May 1, Memur-Sen President Ali Yalçın started his statement by commemorating the health workers who lost their lives due to the pandemic in our country and the world.

"This year was declared 'International Year of Healthcare Professionals'. This is exactly why we are holding our May 1 event where we think it will be the most meaningful in this respect. The country's health workers and our nation's healing workers have expectations, justified demands and reactions. They want a change in the revolving fund system that causes injustice to them. We find it right and stand by them," Yalçın said.

"THE CONTRACTING SHOULD END IN HEALTH"

Expressing the problems of healthcare professionals, Yalçın, "Let the revolving fund not hurt health workers, take their hearts and relieve their pockets. We are faced with the fact that those who provide assurance to our health, do not have job security. There is still the mistake of contracted health workers in the country. As in all public, contracting should end in health. The lack of personnel in the field of health should be eliminated and the workload should be reduced. We must prevent attacks on mental, physical and mental health of those who protect our health altogether, and put an end to violence in health," he added.

"HUMAN SURVIVES WITH LABOR"

"May Day should remind us and everyone that. Human; survives with his labor. World; It comes to life with human and labor. May 1 should also be the day of objection and rebellion against crimes against humanity and humanity. May 1 must be the day when the suffering of the hungry children in Yemen, the oppressed people in Palestine, the sad Muslims in East Turkestan is over, otherwise what is the point of saying the day of unity, the day of struggle, and walking in the squares saying it is the day of solidarity? May Day is not just about voicing our demands for work, power and salary," he said.
