After the earthquake disaster in Pazarcık and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaraş, the works carried out in the region continue.
 
Ali Yalçın, Chairman of the Confederation of Civil Servants Unions (Memur-Sen), and union leaders who work under Memur-Sen, went to the disaster area and participated in field studies.
 
As we enter the 5th day of the earthquake that deeply affected Turkey, disaster efforts in the region continue at full speed.
 
Officer-Sen was one of the unions that participated in the search and rescue efforts since the first day in the region, where search and rescue efforts continue.
 
Ali Yalçın, Chairman of Memur-Sen, went to Kahramanmaraş and participated in the aid efforts.
 

COORDINATION IS A REQUIREMENT TO RESCUE CITIZENS UNDER RUBBLE

 
As we enter the 5th day of the earthquake that occurred on Monday, the works carried out in 10 provinces, especially in Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Hatay and Malatya, continue at full speed.
 
Memur-Sen, who was on the field with the search and rescue teams he sent to the region immediately after the news of the earthquake was heard, also accelerates the aid works he started in 81 provinces and helps the disaster victims by sending them to the region.
 
Memur-Sen Chairman Ali Yalçın and the chairman of the sub-unions working under the union, went to the field in Kahramanmaraş, the epicenter of the earthquake.
 
Yalçın, who made investigations in the earthquake area, met with AFAD and Memur-Sen search and rescue teams. Yalçın, who received information about the latest situation from the authorities, emphasized the importance of coordination with the authorized units in order to save the citizens under the rubble.
 
Continuing to hold contacts in the regions affected by the earthquake after his meeting with the authorities, Yalçın stated that some of the aid from all over Turkey reached the region.
 
Underlining that Memur-Sen will continue to provide assistance by starting work in 81 provinces, Yalçın noted that they will continue to provide uninterrupted support to the aggrieved citizens.
 
Yalçın stated that the 10 provinces affected by the earthquake were shared between Memur-Sen provincial representatives in order to support them and that new aid trucks are on their way.
 
Emphasizing that as an organization, they are always ready to take responsibility and that they will get through the bad days together, they continued their field work.
