Dr. Abdullah Sevim, Member of the General Administrative Board of the Felicity (Saadet) Party and Chairman of the Board of IKEV, visited our newspaper on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Milli Gazete.
Conveying his congratulations to our half-century-long publishing life by meeting with Milli Gazete Concession Holder and General Manager Ömer Yüksel Özek and our Editor-in-Chief Mustafa Kurdaş, Sevim expressed praise for the unwavering publishing line of the Milli Gazete.
"Milli Gazete set out on its way by adopting the verse 'The truth has arrived and falsehood perished' as a principle. In 50 years, it struggled for the truth to arrived and the falsehood to disappear. May Allah grant us many 50 years, may our newspaper continue on this line. Milli Gazete is a very important touchstone, a criterion for our National Vision Movement. This is also true for the public. People do not question whether an advertisement published in the Milli Gazete is suitable for Islam, they think, 'If it is published in the Milli Gazete, it is a halal product, it is a product that has adopted the principle of serving its nation and country'. This honor has not been given to any other newspaper. The reason for this is that it adopted the verse in the beginning as its principle," he said.
Saying that there will be a need for Milli Gazete today and in the future, "Our country is going through a difficult period both economically and morally. The reason for this is wrong policies and wrong order. In such a process, Milli Gazete, the most reliable institution of National Vision, has a great job to do," he added.
