Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, Iran's Ankara Ambassador Muhammed Hasan Habibullahzade, Iran's Ankara Embassy Military Attaché Pilot Colonel Toraj Zeinoddin, Air Force Commander General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu and many political party representatives attended the reception.

The reception started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by speeches.

Speaking at the reception, Iranian Ambassador to Ankara Muhammed Hasan Habibullahzade called on the international community, pointing out that many innocent children and women have been killed by Israel and its "Western allies" in Gaza in the last 7 months.

"For the last 70 years, the international community has ignored the Zionist regime's occupation of Palestine and various systematic human rights violations, as well as the killing of children, the bombing of hospitals, the destruction of schools, the attack on journalists and international aid organizations, and finally the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has diplomatic and all kinds of immunity. It is a great shame that the Damascus Embassy turned a blind eye to the attack on the consular section," Habibullahzade said.

“THE TWO COUNTRIES ARE INCREASING THE LEVEL OF COOPERATION”

Underlining that Iran and Turkey are two neighboring countries, Habibullahzade stated that the two countries constantly exchange views.

"The 550-kilometer border between the two countries has been the border of friendship and peace, economic, cultural and political cooperation for 500 years. Iran and Turkey have various political, security, regional, commercial and economic cooperation, as well as increasing the level of cooperation in military fields," Habibullahzade added.

“INTENSE CONTACTS ARE IMPORTANT TO ENSURE STABILITY IN OUR REGION”

Emphasizing that the relations between Turkey and Iran are important for the stability, security and prosperity of the region, Air Force Commander General Kadıoğlu said that relations are developing day by day in political, economic and cultural fields on the basis of common history and culture.

Underlining that the region is going through a critical time, Kadıoğlu said, "Intensive contacts between Turkey and Iran are important in terms of efforts to prevent ongoing atrocities against our Palestinian brothers and to ensure stability in our region."
