Azam, who came to Syria from Malaysia and tried to keep the consciousness of the ummah alive, spoke highly of late Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan and said, "Mujahid Erbakan was a pioneering brain, he was an ecole."

The civil war that has been going on for 10 years in Syria has also revealed the problem of not being able to make a joint decision between Islamic countries. The inability of Islamic countries to come together caused the Syrian Civil War to prolong and peace could not be achieved. Many Islamic countries could not take healthy steps to end this war that their Muslim brothers were going through, and Muslim countries started to have problems with each other. Prof. Ahmad Azam, President of the Organization of the Enlightenment of the Ummah (WADAH), who came from Malaysia and opened a mosque and madrasah in Azez, Syria, spoke to our newspaper and evaluated the inability of the Ummah to be together.

“MUSLIMS ARE NOT LIVING UNDER THE ISLAMIC CONCEPT”

The President of the Organization for the Enlightenment of the Ummah (WADAH), Prof. Ahmad Azam, stated that the scene in Syria is a sad situation that affects people, and said, "what is happening in Syria is a reflection of the Ummah. The Ummah is misled, manipulated and at the same time left alone. We are an ummah, but we are not in the form of an ummah, we are fragmented. Muslims do not live in the Islamic concept. Because the system does not belong to Islam. Muslims are in constant conflict when they do not live according to Islam. In order to solve the problem of the fragmentation of Islamic countries, we need to follow the Ottoman Empire. We must look at the situation of the ummah 100 years ago. The first solution to the problem is we must direct the age in which we live. We must understand, study and research Islam."

“MUJAHID ERBAKAN WAS AN ECOLE”

Azam said that the late leader of the National Vision Movement, Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan, believed in the unity of the ummah.

"Islam and the Ummah are like fish and water. Fish cannot live without water, and dies. In fact, this example is what is happening in the Islamic world right now. Mujahid Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan was a pioneering mind, an ecole. Necmettin Erbakan believed in the unity of the ummah. In this way, he wanted to create unity among Islamic countries in economic, political and many issues," he added.
