Awards were given to the students who ranked in the "Every Book is a New Life 7th Book Reading Contest" and the "My Prophet My Leader 40 Hadith al-Sharif Contest" organized by the "ÖNDER" Imam Hatip Students Association.

An award ceremony was held at Kadıköy Anatolian Imam Hatip High School for the students who ranked high in the competitions held for the students of imam hatip secondary and high schools in Istanbul.

In his speech here, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül said that this was the first school he visited in the city after his appointment. Expressing that they like the school very much, Gül said, "But they always say, 'There are no good schools. There are good teachers, good students and good parents.' I actually see all three here. Both the interest of our parents, the support of our teachers and the participation of our students are an indication that Kadıköy Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, which is a well-established school, will go even further."

"WE HAVE A CHALLENGE TO EDUCATE YOUTH READING THE WORLD"

ÖNDER Chairman Abdullah Ceylan said that Mahmut Celalettin Ökten, the founder of Imam Hatip Student Association, described the imam hatip student as double-winged.

Ceylan stated that they set out to raise and contribute to that youth, and that they are trying to update their vision of the world and the hereafter within the scope of the hadiths of our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH), on the one hand, and try to adapt them to the new era.

"On the other hand, we have a struggle to raise young people who not only read books, but also read between the lines, read life and read the world through book reading competitions," Ceylan said.
