Felicity (Saadet) Party Konya Deputy and Head of Youth Branch Abdulkadir Karaduman spoke at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

Referring to the topics on the agenda, Karaduman mentioned the exorbitant price increases, especially the economy. Evaluating the developments in the economy, Karaduman said, "Is there a crisis today? Or is there a crisis? There is a crisis for a father who cannot buy a school uniform for his child. However, there is no crisis for rentiers who receive tenders with the Build-Operate-Transfer model. There is a crisis for mothers who wait for the neighborhood markets to disperse to buy leftovers. However, there is no crisis for holdings whose tax debts of billions of lira have been erased! There is a crisis for young people who dream of becoming a citizen of another country because they cannot find a job. However, there is no crisis for those who receive salaries from 3-5 places! There is a crisis for the minimum wage worker who cannot pay the rent of his house, electricity, water and natural gas bills! However, there is no crisis for banks that mortgage the future of our people under the name of credit without saying earthquake, flood or epidemic! There is a crisis for the peasant, who cannot cultivate his land or take care of his animals due to increasing input costs. However, there is no crisis for those who say, 'Long live my Sultan,' no matter what happens in the country."

523,000 CONTRACTED PERSONNEL FORGOTTEN

Karaduman said that Turkey is experiencing a pandemic in many areas in economy, education, health, moral and spiritual values.

"The only vaccine we need to get rid of this pandemic is the National Vision, Saadet Party. With the motto of fair order, we will first return to morality and spirituality, fair sharing, a personal foreign policy, a production economy, not consumption, and we will carry our country together from these dark days to bright tomorrows. 523 thousand contracted personnel working in the public sector are waiting for a cadre, promises were made many times, it was said that it would be solved, but it was forgotten. Of course, the difference in personnel rights between the personnel assigned with the same methods and working under the same conditions is a serious problem. This is clearly unfair. Contracted personnel are compelled to work with restricted basic personal rights such as the right to determine a salary level and leave. This obvious problem must now be resolved. It is a necessity to eliminate this distortion in order to develop the sense of belonging of the employees to the institution they work for and the work they do, and therefore to be able to perform an efficient work," he added.

THE CAUSE OF THE CRISIS IS INTEREST INCENTIVE CAPITALIST POLICIES

Karaduman emphasized that the crisis is the result of an extraordinary 20-year process, "As long as the mentality that created this crisis is persisted, it is not possible for the country to come to the level. The main reason for this crisis is the interest-oriented capitalist policies that have continued for years. You sold the factories that were built all over the country with heavy industry moves under the name of privatization. You have delivered the sweat and labor of our people to the interest lobbies. To date, you have given 511 billion dollars to loan sharks from the budget. That's $3 million every hour. On the other hand, our money lost its value day by day because you did not follow a production-based policy, the exchange rate increased, inflation increased, interest rates increased, and our foreign debt increased. Our debt to banks has increased. As a result of this, our people became poor, crushed under increasing taxes and hikes, and they continue to be oppressed," he said.
