During the two-day congress, peace, justice and mercy were discussed in the first day panels.

The first panel was chaired by Mustafa Kamalak, a member of the High Advisory Board of the Felicity Party.

KAMALAK: "WE MUST BE UNION AS MUSLIMS"

Kamalak recalled that the Islamic world is going through a very critical period and said, "I would like to ask these two questions to everyone who is sane. First, is it possible to solve the problem of Muslims by cooperating with non-Muslims? Second, are there any other means of salvation for Muslims other than gathering together to form their own troops? I think both questions will be called ‘no’. What we should do for him and whether we should be united as Muslims."

ABDULAZİZ: "APPLYING A DOUBLE STANDARD"

Sheikh Irfan Abdulaziz, President of the Northern Iraqi Islamic Operation, underlined that justice and compassion are the most important pillars of Islam. We have a Bosnian massacre in front of us. Thousands have been killed. International public opinion, no one raise a voice to the massacres of Western countries. Nobody reacts to their massacres. Now it has some accusations against Turkey. They loaded to Turkey over the Armenian issue. They bring things that have never happened by mixing the past. That's double standard. Peace, justice must be established in this region. I hope the next century will be the century of Islam," he said.

ISLAM: "WE COULD SPEAK ON DIFFERENT YEMEN"

Member of Iran Taghrib Institution Sheyhul Islam, remarking that strong ties between Iran and Turkey established by Necmettin Erbakan, said that Erbakan Hodja was a leader who addressed to all Islamic countries. Erbakan was a star that shone in the sky of Turkish religion.

"West and American enmity against us is serious. The US congress unanimously is sanctioning both Iran and Turkey. It's called war. This war will also determine the future. The Iranian Revolution is the revolution of Muslims. The orders stated in the Qur'an must be fulfilled. If the money used to destroy Yemen was used for reconstruction, Yemen would be completely different. If there were no mistakes made about Syria, we would talk about a different Syria today," he added.

EKİNCİ: "WE MUST APPLY ISLAMIC THOUGHT"

Turkey Scholars Association President Abdulvahap Ekinci, "As Muslims, we need to practice justice on our own. They are relieving compassion in Muslims. We need to practice Islamic thought. If we apply Islam completely, we will throw the blood and tears into the waste of history," he said.

ELMABROOK: "WE HAVE TO REMOVE WAR FROM HEARTS"

Participating in the conference from Libya Wanis Elmabrook stated that the life of our Prophet (peace be upon him) was completely on peace.

"He approached with peace even when they rejected them. Because he knew he would touch the peace. The Zionists never want peace. They don't want peace anywhere in the world. They fought wars all over the world. When we look at our nation, we see that the word peace is seriously broken. Cruelty and peace are the opposite of each other. Persecution and peace cannot be found in the same heart. War begins with reason and heart. But for peace we must cleanse the mind and the heart of evil," he said.

TEKİR: "COMPASSION-FREE JUSTICE IS THE OPPRESSION"

Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. Sabri Tekir, "Justice is like the oxygen that ensures the existence of a human being and therefore the society to breathe and stay healthy. If the living without oxygen loses their lives, societies lose their vitality, unity and solidarity in the absence of justice. The most prominent feature of a virtuous administration is that it attaches importance to justice. Compassion is a factor that ensures the social legitimacy of fair practices. Mercy-free justice turns into tyranny," he said.

AHMAD: NEW GENERATIONS NEED TO GROW

Vedat Ahmet, President of the Islamic Council, "New wounds are opening every day in the Islamic world. I am here to represent the Muslims of Bulgaria. We know that East Turkestan Muslims are having problems. 30 years ago we had the same situation. We need to raise this issue in meetings where the Islamic world comes together. We need to look for new help topics for them. If we want to build a new world, new generations must come. But since we're talking for today, we need to renew ourselves," he said.

AMIN: "WE WANT TO BUILD AN INTERESTING WORLD"

Vice-President of the Bangladesh Jamaat-i Islami Party Dr. Nurkul Amin, "The world emerged under capitalism in our modern day. The Islamic economy needs to be put into operation as soon as possible. Because justice and prosperity will come with the Islamic economy. Fair sharing comes with the Islamic economy. This will affect our social life. We are also working on Islamic economics in Bangladesh. We are working to create an interest-free structure in Bangladesh. Unfortunately, we can't get the support we want. At this point, all Islamic countries need to act together," he said.

ABDULHADI: "THE FUTURE IS IN ISLAM!"

Khalil Abdulhadi, Vice President of the Islamic Party of Malaysia, “Muslims are facing great difficulties. This period is one of the hardest times. During this period, the Islamic world was occupied by Western systems. Westerners ruined the economy of the Islamic world. The West markets ideas that are contrary to human nature. Especially the use of Islam under different names makes us very uncomfortable. We only know that the future is in Islam," he said.

ALI: "POLICIES TO REMOVE THE AUTHORITIES OF MUSLIMS ARE FOLLOWING"

Abdurrahim Ali, who attended the conference from Sudan, "There are wars in many parts of the world because there is no justice. Millions of people are forced to migrate. Many people expect the international justice system to take action, but unfortunately no one does. The same situation practiced in Palestine. Because the Palestinians are persecuted every day, but no one reacts. Policies are abolishing the powers of Muslims. We cannot speak of justice even in Muslim countries," he said.

KHAN: "THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITY OF MUSLIM IS TO WARN"

Malik Mutasim Khan, General Secretary of the Islamic Community of India, "The main responsibility of Muslims is to warn. To explain that Islam is in every society. Muslims are the people who will contribute to this world. Muslims need to know that they have an important role to play. Muslims will reveal the best way of life in the majority and minority. As citizens of Muslim countries, we need to explain Islam to the world. There is not much talk about the Prophet. We need to talk more about the Prophet. Our politicians devote much of their time to military and other issues. There is much more we can do about Islam," he said.

WIRJAJA: "WE SHOULD BUILD PEACE AGAIN"

Tawek Wirjaja, Vice President of the Indonesian Justice and Welfare Party,"We want to be in peace with the whole world. Unfortunately, some people are being displaced from their homes. We have no other way of rebuilding peace. Muslims need to increase their role," he said.

“Islamic countries need to act with a common consciousness"

Prof. Dr. Arif Ersoy expressed that the leaders of Islamic countries hope for help from the West and said, "Not like this. We should talk about how inflation will be in Islamic countries. But they're still waiting for something from the United States. The solution is to act on a common ground with Islamic countries. Islamic countries need to act with a common consciousness."

FAI: "THERE IS MISERY IN KASHMIR"

Ghulam Nabi Fai, President of the International Kashmir Forum, "Muslims around the world say among themselves, "When will Muslims hear us?". Kashmir is a very nice place. However this beautiful place we lost. Foreign newspapers wrote that Kashmir has turned into a hell. None of these were Muslims. India has recruited soldiers in Kashmir. There's suffering in Kashmir. Nothing else," he said.

AL-HAJ: "TURKEY'S SUPPOSED TO BE LEADER"

Dr. Mohammad Al-Haj from Jordan, "We need to put nationalism and sectarianism aside. We can only do this by bringing together all the Muslim countries. Turkey, at this point gives great support to Islamic countries. We hope that Turkey will bring together the Muslim countries. Turkey, at this point will be the leader," he said.
