Representatives of the National Vision (Milli Görüş) organizations carrying out their activities in the city of Bitlis paid a courtesy visit to the Milli Gazete.
The National Vision delegation, consisting of Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) Bitlis Branch President Abdurrahim Doğru, Cansuyu Association Bitlis Provincial Representative Gökhan Evran, Felicity (Saadet) Party Bitlis Organization President Yahya Yeşilyurt and AGD Bitlis Organization President Rıdvan Dalga, visited the Milli Gazete Editor-in-Chief Mustafa Kurdaş in his office.
In the meeting, which took place in a friendly chat environment, ideas were exchanged about the work of the National Vision organizations in Bitlis.
OUR CITY OF BITLIS IS INTRODUCED TO THE FOREIGN WORLD WITH WRONG PERCEPTIONS
Speaking at the visit, AGD Bitlis Branch President Abdurrahim Doğru said, "Bitlis and Istanbul have a very good thing in common. Fayzullah El Ansari, the brother of Ayup el Ansari, the standard bearer of the Islamic armies, is buried in Bitlis. Abdurrahman Gazi, son of Muaz bin Jabal, one of the great Companions, was also martyred in Ahlat. These are spiritual gains for Bitlis. Unfortunately, our city of Bitlis is introduced to the outside world with wrong perceptions. People who don't know Bitlis have the perception that the whole region is a terror nest due to terror-based news such as so many weapons found, ammunition found, curfew declared. This is very wrong promotion. Bitlis is a city that hosts many beauties. We, as the Anatolian Youth Association, continue our work in the center of Bitlis and in all its districts. We have recently acquired a property in a large area of 400 square meters, owned by AGD. Alhamdulillah, we continue our work diligently."
“WE SHOULD SUPPORT THE WORK OF NATIONAL OPINION ORGANIZATIONS”
Mustafa Kurdaş, Editor-in-Chief of the Milli Gazete, who took the floor during the reception of the National Vision delegation, said, "Youth work is very important in every region of our country, in every province, but it has a special importance in our Eastern and Southeastern regions. Because these regions of ours have always been engraved on people's minds with the concept of terror. For this reason, the National Vision movement has given a special value to our youth in the East and Southeast. I find the work of AGD very valuable in this region, which has been exposed to terrorism, global projects and activities for years. We are proud that our AGD has a new building in Bitlis. The works to be carried out by the National Vision organizations have become even more important in the face of the destruction that has been experienced in the region for 30-40 years. Our Eastern and Southeastern Anatolian regions can only get better with the National Vision movement, we need to support the activities of our Anatolian Youth Association and National Vision organizations in order to re-develop the Islamic brotherhood law in order to create an environment of brotherhood. Bitlis is a good example in this regard."
