The insistent publications of the Milli Gazete on the subject of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has been sharing all the details of the invasion plans of the Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina for months, also mobilized the summit of the state.
At the invitation of the President, a special meeting was held with the representatives of Bosnian non-governmental organizations in Turkey at the Huber Mansion in Istanbul. During the meeting held at the Huber Mansion, it was stated that Turkey sought a solution through diplomacy, and that they would also meet with the officials of the parties.
DODIK IS MAKING WAR CREAMS
The leader of the Bosnian Serb Republic, Milorad Dodik, supported by the states of Russia and Serbia, continues to threaten to divide Bosnia and Herzegovina despite warnings for months. The racist Dodik, who promised to re-establish the Serbian Republic Army, which was the main responsible for the massacres committed in the Balkan geography between 1992-1995, and was a warmonger, argues that the Bosnian Serbs will gain their independence by leaving the state institutions and the army.
OUR NEWSPAPER HAS BEEN WARNING FOR MONTHS
Bringing the invasion plans of the Serbs over Bosnia and Herzegovina to the agenda one after the other, the Milli Gazete published special news articles titled "Dayton's traces cannot be erased for 26 years", "Reactions to Serbian provocation are rising", "One step beyond declaration of war", "Serbian tribune terror" before for months.
"WE FOLLOW EVERY DEVELOPMENT IN THE BALKANS CLOSELY"
Speaking about Turkey's influence in the Balkans, President Erdoğan said:
"Since the Dayton Peace Agreement, Turkey has been the biggest obstacle in front of the sad events in Bosnia and Herzegovina as in the past. Today, there are approximately 2 million citizens of Bosniak origin in almost every province of our country. Every negative or positive development in the Balkans is closely followed. While positive events that affect the welfare, peace and tranquility of the Balkans make us happy, troublesome situations cause us all to worry. The Turkish nation has made it their duty to stand by Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Bosnians, regardless of the circumstances in every period of history."
MEETINGS WITH POLITICAL LEADERS
Erdoğan stated that they sought a solution to the crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina through diplomacy.
"We discussed the developments in Istanbul on September 18 with Serbian President Vucic. On Wednesday, I hosted Mr. Bakir Izetbegovic and we discussed how we can resolve the situation and tension in the country before it escalates further. During our meeting, we had the opportunity to evaluate the contributions Turkey can make in this process. I hope to host other officials from Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially Dodik, Komsic and Caferovic, as well as I plan to host them in Ankara in the coming days, and we will hold the necessary talks on this issue. In the meantime, I plan to have a meeting with him, perhaps by making a one-day visit to Serbia or by inviting Mr. Vucic to Ankara in the same way," Erdogan added.
