In the Ramadan conversation we held in a wide range from "How to fast" to "The situation in Muslim geographies", Emin Yıldırım Hodja especially drew attention to jihad.

We talked to Muhammed Emin Yıldırım Hodja about the blessings of Ramadan.

"When we look at the life of our Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), we see that he is always on the road for jihad along with fasting in Ramadan. In the 2nd year of Hijri, our prophet Mohammad (pbuh) was a passenger to Badr. In the next period, we see him every time, in jihad. We are witnessing that he has turned Ramadan into a month of jihad," Yıldırım said.

My dear Hodja, we are in Ramadan, the month of mercy and blessings. How should we, as believers, understand this month?

Alhamdulillah, Allah once again brought us to that beautiful climate. Of course, every day of Allah is holy, beautiful and blessed. But there are some days and some nights when Allah, who is al-Quds, gives them another holiness. Especially the month of Ramadan is a month when this holiness is experienced at the highest level. As a result, the Qur'an, which makes the month of Ramadan and makes 11 months' sultan, is that the Qur'an was revealed in that month. The night when that moment was revealed is the Lailat al-Qadr. And the Lailat al-Qadr is also better than a thousand months, according to the Qur'an. When this happens, we at least catch some clues about how to revive it. There is also another side to the issue. We learned everything from our prophet, and we have to. If we are believers and Muslims, the absolute measure, example, guide for us is our Prophet, who is Uswa-i Hasana as the Qur'an puts it. When we look at how he revived Ramadan, we see something like this. There is no such thing as being a Ramadan Muslim in the life of our Prophet. There is something about the increase of Islam in the life of our Prophet (pbuh) during Ramadan. There are supererogatory acts of worship in his life. But when Ramadan comes there is more. He already has the Qur'an in his life, but when Ramadan comes, there is more.

“WE MUST REMEMBER OUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN RAMADAN”

There is goodness, goodwill and cooperation in the life of our Prophet, but when Ramadan comes, there is more. If so, it's clear what we should do. Inshallah, the days of emancipation, which is a divine gift of Allah to us, which is the means of his mercy and blessings. It is necessary to increase our servitude by increasing the excitement from the beginning to the end, so that we can be the recipient of Allah's mercy. We have an opportunity to do this. There's also responsibility. Opportunity, if we understand this properly, Allah promises us Paradise. He is the one who promises, it befits us to do it. Responsibility is: You can't go to Ramadan all at once. We have to enter Ramadan with serious accounting. We will account for ourselves, excesses, shortcomings, shortcomings in our life. Everyone knows himself better. If there is a problem in my prayers, that is the area I will fix. If I have a problem in reading and understanding the Qur'an, that is the area I will fix. I have some weaknesses, for example, my eyes have no adjustment, my ears have no adjustment. My language is not set. For example, I am an incompetent person, I get angry very quickly. It is a disease. A diagnosis must be made for the treatment of this disease. When you say accounting, these should all be done; In this sense, after making the diagnosis correctly, let the 30-day purification process purify us. One by one, you get rid of the existing diseases, so that the journey that ends in heaven comes to an end.

This year, there are blood, tears and attacks in Muslim geographies during Ramadan. These attacks seem to have become a tradition. What would you like to tell about this topic?

You are right, unfortunately it is a bitter tradition. It has been going like this for many years, it has increased in the last 10 years. This shows the humiliation of the ummah. Maybe we are many in number, we call the Muslim population two billion. But we are not at the desired level. The Messenger of Allah paints us today. One day, in the assembly where he sat with his companions, he says, "One day, the enemies of Islam, your enemies, the infidels will invite you to eat, just like wild wolves, as if they were inviting each other to a set table." At that moment, the Companions are shaken by it. ‘O Messenger of Allah, why? Will we be few in number that day?' 'No,' says the Prophet, 'On the contrary, you will be many in number. But delusion will cover you.” The Companions immediately ask curiously what delusion is. The Messenger of Allah says, “Love of the world and fear of death.” This is what covers the Ummah right now...

"WORLDIZATION DISEASE SURROUNDS US"

The disease of worldization has gripped us. Because we remove such things as death contemplation from our lives, we cannot catch such things, and the enemy takes advantage of our impotence. Our geography is in the blood. Because there is no unity in the Islamic geography. There is no Islamic unity that we miss. We can't come up with plans. Muslims have nothing to say about events in the world. The infidel realized and decided after the Gulf War that; They no longer confronts the Muslim themselves. Because when it comes out, Muslims take a different attitude. That's why they send the enemy out of us. When that happens, our job becomes even more difficult. We must regain wisdom and foresight. If we fear Allah properly, it gives us the feature of Furqan, which is to separate the good from the bad. If we do this, we will understand some things better.
