Felicity (Saadet) Party Konya Deputy Abdulkadir Karaduman made important evaluations on the agenda at the press conference he held in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

Karaduman wished the new academic year to be healthy, cheerful, happy and full of success.

Karaduman underlined that there have been serious losses in terms of education in the last year. Emphasizing that the compensation for the losses cannot be solved by starting face-to-face education, and at the same time, the necessity of improvements in the curriculum, Karaduman noted that curricula that do not allow students to develop their skills will not be beneficial.

“WE DO NOT ACCEPT”

Underlining that we live in an environment where the teaching profession cannot find the value it deserves, Karaduman said, "A management approach that does not value learning activities and teachers will not be able to build a healthy future. In this country, hundreds of thousands of teacher candidates waiting to be appointed to their profession take the exams every year, while at the same time struggling with the problem of living in the anxiety of the future. In this country, teacher candidates are forced to work as a waiter, tea seller, marketer, peddler in order to make a living, but they cannot practice their profession as a result of security investigations, unfair interviews and insufficient number of appointments. We do not accept this order, which forces pre-service teachers who are not appointed after years of labor and undergraduate education, to work in daily jobs, to work in construction, to work as waitresses, and which leaves them alone with psychological problems."

"PCR TEST APPLICATION MUST BE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY"

Karaduman also made evaluations about the necessity of PCR testing.

"At the beginning of the process, while the Minister of Health said that 'there is no need for PCR tests for those who do not show symptoms', today millions of healthy people are forced to have PCR tests two or three times a week. Today, compulsory PCR testing is unfair and unlawful. This practice causes chaos in education, transportation, private sector and many other fields. Compulsory PCR testing, which violates the most basic rights such as the right to life, the right to personal immunity, the right to reside and travel, the right to work and homework, should be terminated immediately," he said.
