In her statement Aydın said that first of all, we hope that this decision, which is answered by our calls for the country to withdraw from the contract, will be beneficial.

"IT IS A TEXT THAT CONFLICTS WITH THE FUNDAMENTAL VALUES OF THE SOCIETY"

Saying that the convention does not protect the family and that homosexuality is a legal basis, Aydın, "The Istanbul Convention is a text that does not take into account the basic values of the country's society, but contains provisions that conflict with these basic values," she said.

"IT WAS PENED AS IMPOSITION TEXT"

She noted that the convention was written as an imposition of Turkey's national will in a strict sense, "Concepts such as gender and sexual orientation, which are among the parameters of the Convention, have been imposed as an attack on the cultural infrastructure," she added.

"REMAINS OF THE CONTRACT SHOULD CLEAN"

Saying that withdrawing the signature from the Istanbul Convention alone does not help overcome the crisis faced by the family and eliminate the threats against the family, Aydın said, "Because the termination of the Contract alone does not mean leaving the universe of the Contract. All regulations, policies and programs made in our legislation based on the Agreement should be reviewed, and all legislation, especially the Law No. 6284, that the Convention has penetrated in our domestic law should be purified from the arrangements originating from the Agreement," she said.
