Reacting to the government's request for money from the citizens for forest fires, Karamollaoğlu said, "You will not hesitate to allocate billions to the Istanbul Canal, but you will give the IBAN number for the fire. This is an expression of incapableness."
“THE THREE ISSUES ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN THE TURKISH ECONOMY”
Saying that three things are important for the economy, Karamollaoğlu said, "Corruption, waste and bribery! Corruption will be eliminated. Billions of dollars are wasted. Now Cyprus has been promised a complex. Who does this benefit? And a bribe. These three elements will disappear. In my opinion, the money returned in these three levels in Turkey is not less than 200 billion liras. 700 million lira per day."
“A GOVERNMENT ASKING FOR HELP IS NOT CAPABLE”
"Citizens ask for help from the state, they say they can't get along. Now it is said, 'Let's give an IBAN number, help us.' Our nation is truly generous. But if the hand is merciful, if the state comes out and says 'we need help, let's put out these fires', it is not capable. They are not using the resources they have in the right place. You will not hesitate to allocate billions to the Istanbul Canal, but you will give the IBAN number for the fire. This is an expression of incapableness," Karamollaoglu added.
'WE WILL PERFORM FRIDAY PRAYER IN DAMASCUS' MENTALITY CAUSED THIS
Karamollaoğlu also touched upon the issue of irregular refugees.
"How did this problem come to us? If Syria had not been intervened with the logic of "We will perform the Friday prayer in Damascus", this situation would not have been encountered. When Syria turned into a bloodbath, we had to accept it. Now that they have come, we cannot say to them, 'See what you are, go'. If they believe that there will be a peaceful environment in their hometown, most of them will return. Let's prepare the conditions in such a way that the Syrians leave of their own accord, and we give support. Turkey definitely needs to establish contact with Syria," he said.
