Visiting Milli Gazete Editor-in-Chief Mustafa Kurdaş in his office, Gökçe Kurtulmuş, Head of the Association of Seeking Justice in Retirement, said that Retirement Age Victims (EYT) had their constitutional right, but 2000 entries were victims.
During the visit, Gökçe Kurtulmuş stated that EYT members received their constitutional rights, but those who started working after 2000 having troubles, and talked about the work of the Association of Seekers for Justice in Retirement.
Mustafa Kurdaş, who talked about the support given by the Milli Gazete to the retired, EYT and all working people, expressed his satisfaction with the visit.

During the visit, Mustafa Kurdaş, Editor-in-Chief of Milli Gazete, spoke about the pension system problem in Turkey.
"Milli Gazete has come so far as a newspaper that shines in the defense of the rights of the low-income, employees, pensioners, workers, farmers and civil servants, and in responsible publishing. The protection of the rights of retirees is an important issue for Milli Gazete. Unfortunately, retirees in Turkey are seen and shown as a burden on the budget and as a hump on the back of the government. No, retirees are not a burden and a hump on the back of this nation. They have served this nation for years with their dignity, honor and sweat, and have paid their premiums. ‘Then our state should give us these premiums we pay.’ A mental change and transformation is needed in retirement," Kurdaş said.
“IT IS A REQUIREMENT OF OUR RESPONSIBLE PUBLISHING”
Stating that a new discussion has started with EYT, Kurdaş said, "Justice is needed for all employees. It has become almost a conviction that everyone who is up to a certain year suddenly retires, and for those who follow it, a situation such as waiting for years arises. Unfortunately, while EYT was making people happy, it caused great suffering and injustice. As the Milli Gazete, we will continue our responsibility in the face of these grievances and injustices, and we will support all efforts in this regard to eliminate these grievances. This is a requirement of our responsible publishing."
“WE WANT A NEW PENSION ARRANGEMENT”
Gökçe Kurtulmuş, President of the Association of Seeking Justice in Retirement, explained the reasons for their search for rights.
"Our association was founded about 5 months ago in order to defend the rights of victims with SSK entry after September 8, 1999. Unlike EYT members, we were sentenced to work between 17 and 20 years longer. We are working on booths to express our grievances, we meet with political party representatives and seek our rights. We want our right to retirement, both in social media and in the field, to be recognized in accordance with the equality article of the Constitution. On the other hand, it is not possible for a person to work for more than 25 years under the conditions of Turkey. We want a new pension arrangement," Kurtulmuş asid.
