Turkey's fight against fires continues. In the last 5 days, 135 forest fires occurred in 35 provinces. Due to insufficient equipment, early intervention could not be made in the fires, in which many citizens became homeless and lost their animals and agricultural lands. The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, who said that the Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK) planes were not used due to their insufficiency, received a reaction from the citizens when he said that there is no fire extinguisher plane in the inventory. Ceren Seda Çiçek, Head of Hatay Provincial Women's Branch of the Felicity (Saadet) Party, who issued a press statement about forest fires, which is the agenda of the country, made important statements.
Making a press statement about forest fires, Saadet Party Hatay Provincial Women's Branch President Ceren Seda Çiçek stated that 4 fires in Hatay were also brought under control.
"Some of the fires across the country still continue. Regarding the issue, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu stated that the fires were not caused by arson or sabotage, but due to the air temperature. We do not accept these statements. It is a fact that Turkey is in a hot region due to its location. However, linking the fire that broke out at 90 points on the same dates to the air temperature is nothing but a serious mockery of our citizens," she said.

Ceren Seda Çiçek, who said that she could not make sense of throwing tea at the citizen affected by the fire, "President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan entered the disaster area affected by the fire the other day with a convoy of hundreds of vehicles. He held a rally in the region. He threw tea to the citizens affected by the disaster both during the convoy and during the rally. We could not understand what the idea was to hold a rally and throw tea while the country was on fire. Serious games are being played on our lands. Of course, we will not allow them to spoil our unity and integrity in this process. But we will not give an opportunity to the mentality that feeds off this victimization. What we need to do as citizens in this process is to provide all kinds of support to our brothers and sisters living in the disaster area as much as we can. On this occasion, we wish God's mercy on our brothers who lost their lives in the fire, and convey our best wishes to our brothers and sisters who were affected by the disaster," shea added.
