Yusuf Yazgan, Chairman of the Bureau "Memur-Sen", said that measures were taken to prevent disruption of public services as well as services such as food, education and health, but that the problem of housing the civil servants working in the region still continues.
"Our state took action immediately after the disaster of the century, and important steps were taken towards the reconstruction of the disaster area. The majority of the public officials working in the earthquake area are volunteers and the shelter needs of these officials (container-prefabricated) have not been met yet," Yazgan said.
Addressing the government, Yazgan wanted the problem to be resolved as soon as possible.
"Despite all the difficult conditions, our officers do their best to ensure that public servants do not fail. In order for the citizens in the disaster area to receive the best public service, the shelter needs of the civil servants working here should be met immediately, and there should not be a single civil servant who has a housing problem," Yazgan added.
