UN Special Representative for Syria Staffan de Mistura met with Foreign Minister Eymen al-Safedi in the capital, Amman. The meeting focused on efforts to reach a political solution in Syria and the developments related to these efforts.
As the UN Special Envisioner to Syria, "We need to do more to search for ways to make progress in the political process in Syria," De Mistura said.
"What everyone wants, that is stability in Syria. We need a political process that has a credibility for this." he added.
