On the issue of alimony, work continues on the package that will include headings for healthcare workers. In line with the instructions of Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ, it is expected that important changes regarding the fight against violence against women and the abolition of the good behavior discount will also be included in the regulation.

PERMANENT ALIMONY WILL BE LIMITED

It is not yet clear whether the alimony arrangement will be included in the new package. The work on the gradual determination of alimony based on the duration of marriage, instead of indefinite alimony, is carried out by the Ministry of Justice. New measures will be added to the judicial package to prevent violence against healthcare workers. Currently, the penalty for those who intentionally injure healthcare professionals is also reduced by a good behavior discount and can be converted into fines. With the new regulation, it is planned to end this discount. New penal regulations are envisaged for those who cause the informality to continue by issuing false invoices and documents in the package. The 6th judicial package was put on the Parliament's agenda and expected to arrive in March.
