Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu criticized the power over the economy at the group meeting of his party.
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahceli renewed the call for the closure of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and stated that there would be no snap elections.
“THEY TAKE FROM THE POOR AND GIVE TO THE RICH!”
Underlining that the government has made Turkey the most disreputable and insecure country, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "The economy is in a complete collapse. Bribes given to those with high deposits. He says to the deposits that a handful of rich people have saved in the bank, 'I will give you money, you just keep your money there'. This means transferring what is taken from the poor to the rich. They saw that the yeast is not holding again, the dollar is going up. They said to the exporters, 'We will deposit 25 percent of the export value to the Central Bank'. They have collapsed on the back of the exporter now. Third, this is the cover of Bahçeli. Selling citizenship. Citizenship was given to those who bought a house, they looked, it did not work, he says, if you deposit 500,000 dollars in the bank, I will give you citizenship. You sell citizenship for 500,000 dollars. You know, were you a nationalist or an idealist? I'm going to fix all of this and get a wick from the noses of those gentlemen," he said.
“ARE YOU THE PARTNER OF THESE ROBBERS?”
Kılıçdaroğlu reminded of the research proposal they submitted in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey regarding the sharp fall in the dollar on the night of 20 December, "Someone exchanged his dollar for 18 liras, went away 2 days later and bought a dollar for 13 liras. Some have earned billions of dollars. He said let's investigate this in the Parliament. The deputies of the AK Party and the MHP said, 'No, let's not investigate'. I openly complain to my people here. The AK Party and MHP deputies sided with the robbers, not the poor. They will say right and law, 84 million people are being robbed, when they say who robbed them, they say no. Are you partners with them? Are you the partner of those robbers?" he added.
'NOT NAMES, GAMES ARE ALWAYS THE SAME GAME'
In his speech, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli made harsh criticisms of CHP, Good (IYI) Party and HDP and repeated his call for "HDP should be closed".
Expressing that they expect the Constitutional Court to do its duty at the point of closing the HDP, Bahçeli said, targeting the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), which claims that the data of the domestic coronavirus vaccine TURKOVAC is missing, "TTB management should be held accountable, and a new professional organization bound to its nation, country and flag should be planned and implemented," he said.
Responding to the snap election allegations through the 2002 snap elections, Bahçeli said followings:
"Indeed, the upbringing of Kemal Derviş has kept the corners of the CHP. Yesterday the target was Bülent Ecevit, today it is Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Even though the names change, the games are always the same game. The first cabinet of the Presidential Government System will not go, even if the 57th government is gone."
