Felicity (Saadet) Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu answered questions about the agenda on the YouTube channel of journalist Cüneyt Özdemir. Karamollaoğlu evaluated political party visits and alliance issues, especially the new Constitution debate in Turkey.
"THERE ARE SERIOUS TROUBLES"
Karamollaoğlu stated that the government handled the issue of the new Constitution to change the agenda, said, "there are a number of issues that hurt the citizen. Economy and unemployment hurts citizens. The shortage of living hurts the citizen. All sections of society and shopkeepers are hurt. He cannot pay his debt. As these problems come to the agenda, the government is getting harder. This agenda needs to change. There is a problem in justice. Nobody can trust it. There are serious problems in foreign policy, there are serious problems in education. They brought the new Constitution to the agenda to draw the attention of the nation to the other side. If the government wants to bring it up seriously, the first thing to do is come sit with the opposition. Whatever changes are to be made, he should say let's talk together. He alone has no power to change. What purpose could he bring this up when he lacked power? It has no other purpose."
"THE PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM IS AN UNCONTROLLED SYSTEM"
Referring to the discussions on the Presidential Government System, Karamollaoğlu pointed out that a coalition was established in the parliamentary system, but that the parties made alliances before the elections in the new system.
"The parties sit down, come to power on the issues they agree and rule the country. Presidential system was adopted to escape from this. But the presidential system is an uncontrolled system. The issue with which the opposition is allied at the moment is the change of this system. There is no hesitation here. While we were going to the last election, we declared it and announced it to the public. We said that we do not form a coalition, each party has its own projects in every field. But if we get the majority in the parliament and win the presidency in any way, we will change this system and we aim to go to the elections and make a democratic election," Karamollaoğlu added.
