In the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the CHP and MHP held their weekly group meetings. While CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu criticized the government, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli blamed the opposition party leaders in his speech.
“THEY INTERVENE WITH THE CENTRAL BANK”
CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu underlined that Turkey needs change and transformation and said that everyone knows that the country is not well-managed.
Emphasizing the need to protect the institutions of the state, Kılıçdaroğlu said the following regarding his visit to the Central Bank:
"Hot politics interferes with the Central Bank. The Central Bank directly determines the monetary policy and instruments it will implement in order to ensure price stability. It cannot directly determine itself, the palace intervenes and cannot prevent the Central Bank from making sound decisions. We went to the Central Bank and said to protect your bank."
Kılıçdaroğlu also spoke about his appearance against public officials.
"It is not my place to threaten anyone, anyone working within the legal framework. Whoever serves his state and nation has a place in my head. But if those who enter into mafia relations say are you threatening? Yes, I threaten them. I will not let anyone to benefit other's rightful share," he added.
“WE ARE NOT PARTNER OF CRISES”
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli criticized CHP Chairman Kılıçdaroğlu harshly.
Responding to the criticism that "Bahçeli is a partner in crises", Bahçeli argued that there is no crisis, "Even if it does, we cannot be satisfied with it, and if necessary, as a partner of the People's Alliance, we will gladly give an account. The political counterfeiters who signed support for Erdogan's presidential candidacy at the front door and lobbied for Abdullah Gul's presidential candidacy at the back door cannot understand us, define us, or grasp us. We are not the partners of the crises, we are the troublemakers of our people, we are the indomitable partner of the People's Alliance, we are the souls of our nation," he said.
