Saadet Party Ankara Deputy Mesut Doğan made statements regarding the scandalous allegations that emerged at the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine.
Stating that the study is not a scientific study, Doğan noted that global lobbies targeting the family structure are turning their attention to our country.

According to a claim made recently; It was alleged that 11 doctors and lecturers at the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, consisting of doctors and academics, illegally approved gender reassignment surgery on 22 children under the age of 18.
Making a written statement on the subject, Saadet Party Ankara Deputy Mesut Doğan stated that the AK Party could not protect the family institution.
"The agenda of the efforts of 'desexualization and gender reassignment', where the risks that worry the society are actual, impossible to materialize, have reached the level of destruction; It shows that powerful politics is perceptual, government sensitivity is fictitious, and public administration is virtual. It shows the size of the breach opened in the castle of values and the walls of virtue. After 20 years of power; While the AK Party's faulty practices, which set its agenda to make constitutional amendments to protect the institution of the family and its subjects, and which needed a provision to protect the marriage union that can only be established between men and women, institutionalized its incapacity and made its heedlessness commonplace," Doğan said.
“OUR FAMILY ORGANIZATION IS UNDER ATTACK OF GLOBAL LOBBY”
Noting that the allegations about the university should be fully investigated, Doğan referred to the article written by 11 doctors and academics.
Doğan stated that the practices that came to the fore in Western countries, especially in the USA, began to be seen in Turkey.
"It shows that global lobbies targeting the family structure are turning their attention to our society. These applications, which are the subject of the news, are not in accordance with medical ethics and mean that national and moral values and family structure are openly attacked. We are deeply worried about the future of our nation and family structure, with the power reached by lobbies who do not accept the fact that gender is biological and want to inculcate the perception of social construction even in small minds that do not have enough perceptive capacity yet," Doğan added.
Doğan underlined that the study is not protected under the title of science, since it does not contain sensitivity towards personal and social law.
DOĞAN ASKS MINISTRY ABOUT GENDER CHANGE CLAIMS
Doğan, who brought the issue to the Presidency of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) in order to reveal the gender reassignment operations, submitted a parliamentary question to the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Justice.
