Stating that there is a wrong mentality in agricultural policies in the country, Felicity (Saaet) Party Gönen District Chairman Hüseyin Kürkçü, "The government in the country is putting pressure on products for price balancing. However, suppression is required in input products based on production such as fertilizer, diesel oil and electricity. Pressing the produced trowel is not a correct method. Production and input costs are very high in the country. It is not possible for us to move forward in farming and animal husbandry policies without reducing these costs," he said.

Saadet Party Gönen District Chairman Hüseyin Kürkçü, who stated that the agriculture and animal husbandry policies in the country are not on the right ground, and that the farmer goes back more and more every year, "In wheat, the producer is in trouble. They bought wheat from the local producer for 1.6 TL. But the price of imported wheat is 2.45 TL. Many producers cannot sell their wheat for 2 TL or 2,200 TL. In other words, the producer is crushed in the face of imports".

Noting that the country has enriched European farmers with its import policy, Kürkçü said, "The feed, which was sold for 80 TL last year, increased to 130 TL this year. I sell about 3 trucks of feed per month. But I can hardly recover half of the money from this sale. All our farmers write on credit. Therefore, we are constantly going in. At the point of support, supports were made during the pandemic period. I call this the state's hand of compassion. But the state also has a whipping hand. When the prices increase, the state immediately tries to suppress the price of the product that the price of the product has increased. On the other hand, a method is used that will completely block the interior of the producer by withdrawing the imported card and leave the products produced in the field. Due to these wrong policies, the Turkish farmer, while waiting for the compassion hand of the state, suffers from the occasional slap."

NOT ON THE PRODUCT, IT MUST BE PRINTED AT INPUT COSTS

"The government is putting pressure on products. This is a very wrong method. However, suppression is required in production-based input products such as fertilizer, diesel oil and electricity. Pressing the produced trowel is not a correct method. Unfortunately, production and input costs are high in the country. It is not possible for us to move forward in farming and animal husbandry policies without reducing these costs. Feed prices should be intervened, inputs should be intervened, and fertilizer prices should be intervened. Intervention to the product is a very, very wrong method. By interfering with the product, withdrawing the import card, you only cause the farmer's product to become worth three kuruş in the field. For example, urea fertilizer, which is used in wheat production and referred to as grass fertilizer, was 86 TL last year, but this year it was 150 TL. How do you expect the farmer to bear this cost?" he added.
