Evaluating the new proposal of the government at the collective bargaining table, Karamollaoğlu underlined that the hikes should be made on the basis of the poverty line, not the hunger limit.

Emphasizing that the citizens are struggling with financial difficulties and unemployment, Karamollaoğlu said, "There are some unresolved issues. If you can't solve them, you can't get the vote of the nation after 20 years with just perception operation. At the beginning of this, whether we want it or not, there is livelihood and unemployment. People are unemployed, people are struggling to make ends meet. Mr. Tayyip and the people around him say, 'Who is hungry, let's fill your stomach, otherwise you will.' This is not a million people, there are at least 15 million people suffering from this problem."

Evaluating the 6th term collective agreement, which was presented the other day and resulted in a verbal agreement, Karamollaoğlu called on the government to take the poverty line as a basis, not the hunger line. Karamollaoglu, "The hunger limit was only decreased in 1996 when Erbakan Hodja became prime minister. The Minister said that today we gave the biggest raise in my lifetime. I was wondering how old he was then. Erbakan Hodja saw the time when he gave a 38 percent raise. They forgot it, they don't even want to remember it. Because nobody likes it," he said.

“AFGHANISTAN IS AN ANCIENT COUNTRY”

Karamollaoğlu stated that he does not look at what is happening in Afghanistan only as the Taliban, but as an Afghanistan.

"Right now, I am not approaching the issue as the Taliban, I am approaching it as Afghanistan. Afghanistan is an ancient country. The Afghan king is one of the kings who supported us both in the First World War and in the War of Independence and later visited Turkey after the establishment of the Republic. There has been a struggle for independence in Afghanistan for the last 40 years, the last 20 years of which were against the USA. They were victorious in the end. In my opinion, no matter what the USA says, it has lost this struggle. When approaching the issue, there were Afghan mujahideen, 6-7 groups, they came together later. The issue here is: Is the Taliban Muslim or Muslim, but having a belief does not mean adopting the same principles in state administration. There is chaos in the world right now. There are 55-60 Islamic countries, but each country is governed differently, but none of them has an ideal government, we see this," Karamollaoglu added.
