ESAM Chairman Recai Kutan issued a message on the occasion of the "Kashmir Solidarity Day", which is held every year around the world on February 5 to draw attention to the human tragedy in Kashmir.
In his message, Kutan drew attention to the problem and emphasized the importance of Kashmir for the Islamic world.
Kutan stated that the Kashmir issue is a ground of turmoil and chaos inherited by Western civilization to the world.
"The Kashmir issue is one of the most important examples of this. At the beginning of the 20th century, while Britain was leaving by giving India so-called independence, it sowed the seeds of conflict and unrest in the region and revealed the 'Kashmir' conflict between India and Pakistan," he said.
“IMPERIALISTS ONLY UNDERSTAND FROM FORCE”
"While the imperialists gave independence to India in 1947, on the other hand, they were left with a bomb like 'Kashmir'. Kashmir is not only a matter of India or Pakistan, but of the Ummah, that is, of us, as we believe. The main thing is the struggle between right and wrong. There were Nemruds who brought disaster to the world in every period, but thankfully there were also İbrahims. Look, the imperialists only understand and shy away from force," Kutan added.
“LET'S COME TOGETHER AND PROTECT D-8 IDEALS”
Saying that the principles and objectives set forth by the D-8 agreement signed on June 15, 1997 are an important and concrete step taken to respond to the human world's longing for peace, dialogue, cooperation, justice, equality and freedom, Kutan made the following call to Islamic countries:
"Let's embrace this ideal together. The problems of humanity and the ummah are not insoluble. The solution is for Muslim communities to come together and establish a 'New Just World', which is the hope of humanity. The day is to gather around our own beliefs and values, and to revive our own civilization, which is the only salvation recipe for humanity."
