“THE PEOPLE WHO CONSIDER THEIR OWN IMPOSSIBILITY WERE WRONG”
The Director of the movie, Recep Köse, shared his views on "Signal". Köse stated that the Mavi Marmara has frustrated Israel and some global powers, who think they are invincible or invincible.
Recep Kose, "The Mavi Marmara event has a very different meaning and dimensions for everyone. Although we have encountered more political dimensions of this effect, millions of people in many geographies of the world have realized something important: Those who see themselves as invincible or irresistible were in error. The spirit of Mavi Marmara actually stands before us as such a source of inspiration. And it clearly reveals who is the real culprit in the Palestinian issue. In our scenario, we actually dealt with this aspect of the Mavi Marmara incident," he said.
“EVERYONE ON SHIP SHOWED AN HONORABLE STANCE”
Durmuş Aydın, one of the Mavi Marmara participants, who made a short speech at the gala, reminded that Mavi Marmara set out to stand against Israeli oppression and to deliver aid to Gaza under the embargo.
"Everyone on board the Mavi Marmara showed an honorable stance that night. We are struggling to maintain this stance. Mavi Marmara was a call to stand up against injustice and oppression. We must do our best to ensure that future generations also have this awareness. Thank you to everyone involved in the movie," he said.
