In his opening speech, the Felicity (Saadet) Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Dr. Abdullah Sevim emphasized the importance of the general congress and party activities that will take place in Ankara on 3 November.
Speaking on the court, Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa İriş said, “We are the associates of a Hakk case that has exceeded 50 years”. İriş drew attention to the importance of the great congress that will take place next Sunday.

Dr. Abdullah Sevim, “Dear brothers and sisters, we must do this meeting and our work for the sake of Allah. Sevim said, "While we should be proud of our Muslim identity, we should not apologize. Some professors in theology faculties do not believe in the verses coming from God Almighty. What he says is that the verses do not follow my logic. He does not believe in the verses, saying that he does not follow the logic of Allah. He acknowledges that these verses are not supposed to come from Allah, but from the Lord's manners. You see who is entrusted to the future of our religion. We have to tell people about it. As the Felicity Party, we cannot succeed without telling them. I'm proud to say that. This party is the party of our Erbakan hodja. Erbakan acts with the opinion of our teacher and no member of the Erbakan is accepted without opposing the opinion of our teacher. Finally, we are preparing for our big congress".

Deputy Chairman of the Felicity Party Mustafa İriş addressed the party members who attended the provincial council and said, "Dear brothers and sisters, we came together for an important meeting on Sunday.
