The Turkish Medical Association (TTB) sent a letter to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and to all political parties that have a group in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), containing their criticism and demands regarding the regulation to be made in the additional indicator.
THE REGULATION EXPLAINED IS INSUFFICIENT
In the letter sent by the TTB, it was emphasized that the additional indicator directly affects the working and retirement conditions of physicians, and the importance of ‘the basic wage increase reflected in retirement’. Within the scope of the additional indicator regulation announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the first week of June, it was noted that the increase of 600 basis points was insufficient, and the demand for 7200 additional indicators was repeated.
PHYSICIAN AND RETIRED PHYSICIAN PEOPLE CAN'T LIVE ON
In the letter sent to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the political parties with groups in the Parliament, it was noted that the current economic conditions in our country make the living conditions of physicians and physician retirees difficult, and this situation should be taken into consideration in the law proposal prepared regarding the additional indicator.
