Speaking at the mukhtar meeting held within the scope of the election activities, Çalışkan stated that the Table of Six came together not out of necessity, but for an environment of peace and tranquility.

Continuing his work without slowing down, shortly before the May 14 elections, Necmettin Çalışkan, a Hatay deputy candidate from the Saadet Party, made a series of visits to Hassa.

Çalışkan, who visited sensitive tradesmen and citizens, also met with the neighborhood headmen.

Çalışkan, who made important statements regarding the agenda at the mukhtars' meeting, explained what the Table of Six aimed and what they would do for the future.

“WE ARE AGAINST THE AUTHORITY OF ONE MAN”

Addressing the headmen at the meeting, Saadet Party member Hatay deputy candidate Necmettin Çalışkan, "We objected to having so much authority in one name. With us, the president can declare war on a country with his signature and send soldiers. It can expel officers with a signature. The Nation Alliance was formed in the face of these powers that would turn a mortal and a person's head. The People's Alliance united with 3 parties at the last minute. We didn't say we'd be together no matter what. We created commissions, we included everything in a specific plan in commissions. We set up immigration commissions. The process took 2 years. We agreed on many issues in the coalition agreement. Then we identified the candidate. We hope that we will elect Kılıçdaroğlu as president. Our other candidates will continue to work to become vice presidents," he said.

“NO LOCAL COMPANY LEFT”

Çalışkan, citing the example of 1974, and emphasized the importance of the coming together of Saadet Party and the Republican People's Party.

"It was most appropriate for him to act by agreement in alliances. In the new system, no party will come to power alone. There are coalitions now. 20 years have passed. After serving in the AK Party in his first term, his excitement was over. They say that if we come to power, they will do the following, then let them do it. Now they say; We will remove the interview. They say this after thousands of people have been deprived of their rights. We stand together for rights, law and justice. We are together to change this system. This country has an employment and labor problem. Many of our locally produced goods belonged entirely to foreigners. While 3 operator companies were owned by locals, they are now operated by foreigners. We want change. There was a right-left fight before. This fight is now over," he added.
