Mahmut Arslan, Chairman of "Hak-İş" Trade Union Confederation, called on the government to give positive results to their demands for the additional raise given to civil servants to be given to public workers.
Making a written statement on the subject, Arslan stated that with the Public Collective Bargaining Agreements Framework Protocol covering the years 2021-2022, which they signed with Türk-İş Union in August 2021, the increase rates were indexed to the inflation figures and the loss of rights was prevented.
He noted that they have brought up the demand for an additional raise to protect the country's economy from the negative picture.
“MINISTER RESPONDED TO OUR DEMAND POSITIVELY”
Arslan noted that, as applied to civil servants, they conveyed their request to the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Bilgin, for an additional raise of 5 percent in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (TİS), in addition to the 6-month inflation rate for public workers. Stating that their demands were met positively, Arslan emphasized that public workers expect a good news in the near future.
